Adorkable

I just got home from my first day at the AAIT annual conference which has been such a fun experience!

Our first presenter Tom Laforge spoke about Macroforces. At one point in his presentation, he explained how our values have shifted. The “winners” used to be the Wall Street banker style guys, “Mr. PC” from the Mac ads, the guy in the suit. This was the guy we’d look up to and want to take home to the family.

Today, we value the Apple geek, who is scruffy, but smart: he’s “adorkable” (my new favorite word, by the way)  and realizes that success is based on the dedication to a purpose greater than your own.
